What You Will Gain from Being a Part of The Rubicon Conference, May 2018

The Law of Unintended Consequences is a remarkable and dispassionate rule. In 2018, who would have thought that what we know in the United States as "the opioid crisis" would have created an opportunity for the profession to be viewed as a needed answer in a critical moment just as the knowledge and understanding of the neuroscience underpinning the profession begins to explode in such a remarkably positive manner.

The Rubicon Conference has created an amalgam of chiropractors, evolutionary biologists, quantum theorists, sociologists, neuroscientists, philosophers, educators and visionaries with the goal of bringing laser-focused attention and intention to the contribution that the chiropractic profession can make on behalf of humankind.

The unintended consequence medicine has brought to the American people in the form of opiate use, misuse and addiction is crossing paths with an era of compassion and respect for the dignity of the individual. Now, big-data and new insights into human function and malfunction has created another never-before-seen confluence. The exploration of that coming together is at the heart of the Rubicon Conference and The Rubicon Group.

Neuroplasticity and Chiropractic:  Removing Subluxation to Improve Human Health

      Speaker(s): Dr. Michael Longyear

Chiropractic has always been about removing the “interference” effect that subluxation has on the nervous system, the master system of the body. Following the first adjustment that D.D. gave Harvey Lillard, we have continued to demonstrate an effect on changing the perception, processing and reaction to someone’s environment when subluxation persists. But until recently, we did not have a good understanding of what this really meant or how to measure this change quantitatively. The current study of neuroscience is providing new insight to some of our original concepts with terms like “central integrated state”, neuroplasticity and early immediate gene response. We now are able to better measure how chiropractic adjustments manifest change in the health and wellbeing of the nervous system and ultimately lead to a better expression of health. This talk will show some of the current research on the topic and leave the audience with a better understanding of how Chiropractic intertwines with an ever-changing and dynamic nervous system.

The Death of the Scientific Method

      Speaker(s): Del Bigtree

The scientific method has long been regarded as the ‘gold standard’ in scientific analysis. Today, more and more members of the scientific community are abandoning the scientific method in favor of science ‘ideology’, making modern science more like a religion, based in faith and strongly held beliefs. This phenomenon, this ‘Religion of Science’, has become common […]

THE RUBICON CONFERENCE: Atlanta

Beginning in London in 2016, moving to Geneva later that year and on to Melbourne in 2017, the stage has been set for The Rubicon Group to make 2018 the year of its North American introduction.

Five institutions, representing five countries on three continents are coming together in Atlanta in May 2018 and in San Francisco later in the year to bring the simple, focused and aligned perspective of The Rubicon Group to the chiropractic community of North America.

The Rubicon Group, following considerable review of the literature, the profession's past and current circumstances, articulated a model of subluxation that is evidence-based, clinically relevant, testable and philosophically congruent. It is now our pleasure to bring a thorough presentation and discussion of this model to Chiropractic in North America. In like manner, we explored the roots of Vitalism throughout history and the development of what is known today as neo-vitalistic thought as an articulating framework consistent with contemporary perspectives of quantum mechanics and neuroscience. We seek to bring these insights, from a range of disciplines, to the needs of the chiropractic profession in 2018.

These perspectives are embraced under the umbrella of healthy living.

Each of these areas of understanding has power to help humankind. It is our perspective that by uniting these approaches we catalyze a logarithmic enhancement of the power of each into the power of all.

Change will happen. You can stand on the sideline and watch it happen, or you can be a part of making it happen and making it happen in a way that better serves humankind-let's catalyze!

Are you interested in growing your practice while creating mass public acceptance of chiropractic?

Do you believe that we must grow vitalistic Chiropractic and vitalistic chiropractic educations worldwide?

Do you believe we must individually and collectively strengthen our great profession?

Do you believe that research congruent with our values and vision is important?

If your answer is yes to any of these questions, you will not want to miss this Rubicon Conference.

On Saturday, May 19, 12:30-2:30pm, join The Rubicon Conference speakers for lunch! Break bread with some of the biggest names in the Chiropractic profession and beyond. Most of our speakers will be in attendance, and you will have the opportunity to sit at one of their tables while you enjoy lunch. There are limited seats available, and this is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so use the registration link today! A cost of $35 per person will be added to your final total.
